Sure you can turn it off, but then 50% of the time I'll be typing half sentences and passwords in the wrong character set! (Not for nothing do people go retro-fitting caps lock LEDs to their QLs.. But this is worse..)

Its bad enough, practically, for me, but even for Windows it seems so incongruous and unaesthetic. I wonder what theyre smoking back there at M$ HQ..
