Before anyone asks, it is not a fault with my website. I took it down. The QL Forum has become a nasty place in recent times. The admins did little or nothing to prevent or stem the rise of the nasty fascists trolling us "nice guys" on there. So I left.
I stopped going on their QL chat a long time ago. It became too unfriendly, arguments, people fell out and it just held little interest for me any more. The attitude seemed to be "if you can't stand the heat, get out of the kitchen". So I did. Apart from that, I continue to think of all admins I knew on the Forum as nice guys and friends. Just that the show seems to be run by the trolls now. Which makes it incompatible with me. My site is hosted by QL Forum, therefore incompatible with my decision to leave. So I've shut it down along with all my QL-related sites (the blog, the Facebook page). Another factor in this is my partner being seriously ill in hospital the last couple of weeks. Thank you to the "good guys" of the QL scene, those who quietly enjoy using their QLs, those who designed all the hardware, the software writers and all the friends I made over the years.
