Thank you Tobias. We have met indirectly - those group video calls hosted by (I think) Martyn Hill during Covid-19 lockdown, where another German user had a bit of a meltdown with you over some subject I do not remember now.
I have greatly valued the endless information, advice and shared knowledge you have offered in order to help users on the Forum over the years. I learned a lot from you, from your willingness to help with just about any subject. Some people did not always appreciate the level of your contributions on there. I did. I'm in discussion with some people to preserve or bring back the content of my website one day, whenever I get the chance to do the necessary work to get the content to them and if we can agree how. Since my website was kindly hosted by the QL Forum team for some time, leaving it there would have been incompatible with my wish and need to leave the Forum and my views on how it was run (and it was only ever my own views, even though many people have told me privately that they agree with me since then). Anyway, as many have said to me since then, my priority has to be the serious illness of my partner, so it will probably be some time before I even get a chance to do the necessary work. It is ten years since my wife died in the same ward in the same hospital - it is horrible seeing my current partner go through it all again in the same place. Thank you so much, Tobias.
