Aha! big controversy over the years, should it have 2 c's in the
middle or 1, even the locals can't agree on that one. The signs mostly
have 2, but as we were there last night (wife's works xmas party) we
noticed some of the signs have the cc painted out and c by itself. Not
joking, this has been a big issue there! Beddgelert is a nice place in
the middle of lovely countryside though.
