Ah well I only change the baud rate on Ser1, SMSQE looks after the mouse
on Ser2, it looks for a mouse on the highest numbered ser port starting
at Ser4 and working down until it finds a rodent ( or doesn't)

I have been having a few other possible related problems such as Qspread
wont save spreadsheets if I change their name (locks up the program)
Par_use gives invalid parameter if used more than once Ser_use don't
seem to work at all.
more investigation needed - I'm on holiday between Xmas and the New
year, so maybe I'll get to the bottom of it then.
Meanwhile it great to go to our club night and take pictures of some of
our members playing with Joe PC,s then put them up on my Q40's screen
and shame them - philistines surround me but I shall not be moved (
catch that , could be a song there)
all the best - Bill
