I think that is possible to do a very cheap QL. Indeed
the 68328 Dragonball has everything needed, except
RAM/ROM of course and I heard that it would costs around
one $ in series production.
The most expensive components would be a 512x256
with 4 shades of grey LCD screen (I never found one,
I think that it should be developped, anyone else give it
a try?) and the housing.
But it could do a lot more than everything else comparable
in the stores today.
