Actually TT did some work for Palm (they have their European R&D
located in south of France) about the processor to chose for the
future, as Motorola's plans are so complicated to understand (why is
there still no Coldfire comparable with Dragonball, ie with integrated
LCD driver, serial ports, timer...???). This was nearly one year ago
and at that time the first generation Dragonball was quoted $11 for
10 000 units in the website, which in fact turned out to be $5, which
now could be much less because Palm dropped it.

Incidentally TT's conclusion was that the 68K instruction
set is still one of the best available (40% more efficient than ARM).

It could even be squeezed into Z88 housing, together with a hard
disk drive and plenty of memory :))) And the source of processors
could be smashed Palms...

For the toy market it should be like a PC laptop, even if it was empty
inside!
