For those with nowt better to do but read about life in the fast-lane I
recount---
The problem grew from misunderstandings where "version 2" appeared in a QPC
context. I was reading "version 2" as QPC version 2 when what was sometimes
meant was "QPC2 version2". By the end it got farcical. I wrote to say that
I have QPC2 version 1 which was interpreted in its context to mean QPC2
version 2! I was glad when the roundabout stopped and I could get off!
A related misunderstanding arose because I confused "updates" [free ?] with
"upgrades" [not so free?]! Sob.
The bottom line is, with Christmas passed and no £30 forthcoming, no QPC2
VERSION 2 for me. (:<
