The QL news listbot server appends just such a message to each email.
It only needs a short:
'To unsubscribe from this list, send an email message to
[EMAIL PROTECTED] with the word unsubscribe in the body
(only) of the message. Leave all other fields blank'
Alternatively, append a short message which points to a website
somewhere with details of where to get help, how to unsubscribe etc.
Sending periodic emails as reminders would use up just as much
bandwidth I guess.
The astounding thing is that people don't keep a copy of the email
they get when they subscribe!
