I believe, from my own experiments with this, that it is because you
have not allocated enough memory to QPC 2. I say this because I have
been upgrading disks for my customers and I always test the disks before
I send them out. If I leave it on 4Mb as shipped I get the same effects.
BG_COLOUR uses a lot of memory.
