Thanks, I did. Lau said Minerva does the same as QDOS (and I suspect SMSQ). If
the request fails (out of memory only) then the call does not return, it simply
stops basic (ie, quits the PROC/FN call) and reports the error (usually to #0).

ERR_OM on BV_CHRIX is pretty unrecoverable anyway...
