I presume this is reflected in the SCR or CON channel definition block for
the number of bytes per screen line ?
If so my DISPLAY_WIDTH function will simply return 256 or 512 appropriately.
SS3 will then dump 256 (or 512) times the screen depth to the scr file. 
I suppose this means that under certain resolutions there will be 'wasted'
bytes in the scr file.
