The University of Manchester developed an ARM compatible processor using asynchronous logic, the Amulet2e. The last thing I heard of it that they were going to develop the Amulet3 for industrial production. But that was 1999, I don't know what happened to it. Another project is (was?) the Japanese TITAC-2 which is a sort of MIPS clone (not fully compatible). Marcel
