At the time yes, but looking back the useless stuff all went in one go and what's left is the more useful stuff I use more often. To give you an idea of what Darren is talking about even after her purge I still have: QL+Gold Card+various disk drives+Centronics GLP+HP Deskjet 320 Minis-QL Aurora/SGC/Canon BJ10sx/Qubide PC+Scanner+Zipdrive+CDRW+Printer etc etc Full set QLWorld+QLUser Full set Quanta newsletter (about 2 shelves!) About 20 Posso boxes of (almost all) QL software and clipart on disk, though most due to be committed to CD as Darren has done. Nearly full set fo computerative mags (my favourite non-QL mag) >The box room was his old DJC office and its >still floor to ceiling with floppies - both 3.5" and 5.25" ones! The 5.25 inch ones are gone, I no longer have a drive for them, all transferred to CD or 3.5 inch floppies. >I took a >lot of his old hardware, if only to preserve this stuff for the future, and >to prevent it going in a skip, as a lot of it I had never ever heard of. >Various expansions, a Q-Control, A Maurice QV4000 QL Speech Synthesizer, a >QubIDE, Cumana Drives, Expanderams, ICE mice, a QL barcode reader (which >dominic morris bought to see if he would get it to work with a Z88!) and >loads of other bits inc. just about every piece of QL software ever to see >the light of day. Which just goes to prove my house is bad enough. You should see Darren's parents' place...you can hardly move without falling over a QL or a PC there. And there's Linux stuff there too! -- Dilwyn Jones [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.soft.net.uk/dj/index.html
