My dad :
cannot wire a plug (colour blind) - I have been wiring plugs since I was 4
years old. He is red green colour blind, and in those days, the colours were
red = live, black = neutral and green = earth. Bad to get red & green mixed
up :o)
cannot program his video. I bought him a video for xmas a few years back. To
record a program at 10:00 for 2 hours, when he was going out at 7:30 meant
he hit play + record at 7:30. The video had a 3 hour tape in it. So he gets
the first half hour of his program at the end of the tape :o(
So I bought him a Video+ handset. Showed him how it works. So he now leaves
the video powered ON when he goes out, so V+ turns it OFF when the film
starts, and back on when it finishes AAAAAArrrrrrrrGGGGGhhhhhhh !!!!
I'm not getting him Sky - I flatly refuse !
