As far as I can gather,

we are in the_quantum web ring,

the ring used to be hosted/powered/somethinged by Webring

Yahoo took over Webring at about the same time as it took over all the
'groups'

Yahoo now want to split Webring off again, but because it has an agreement
with us, it cannot pass on/back our personal information to Webring, so we
have to migrate our webring site, and get a new webring id (whatever that
is) and register that id over at Webring.

Then we are once again on the Webring.

It is indeed a mess !

Norman.

I am puzzled by all this - I got the email too, but, as I said, I am not
on the yahoo webring.

I have to do nothing, I assume, to keep my site on the QL webring.

What _is_ this yahoo webring? Someone has added me, but not told me, so
I do not include it on my site.

What a mess.
