Since installing QPC2v3 I've had problems printing to the Espon Stylus
880. I discovered a workaround by chance which I'll mention here until
Marcel Kilgus comes back from skiing to shed some light on this:

If the printer was switched on when Windows 95 started, printing from
QPC2v3 fails; output disappears as though printing to a NUL device. If
the printer was switched off when Windows started, then switched on
AFTER QPC2v3 has been started, printing from QPC2v3 seems to work OK.
Ironically, once QPC2 printing has finished printing from Windows then
gives an 'Integer divide by zero' error from Windows!

The printer port PAR is set to LPT1 (not to printer).

I wonder if it's possible that Windows is putting the printer into
Windows printing mode which does not get cleared when QPC2 tries to
print (i.e. the printer stays in Windows graphics mode?) This might
explain why printing works using Epson LQ/ESC P2 control code sets
from QPC2 if the printer is left switched off until after QPC2 has
started?
