Yes it does but currently I don't think that ProForma fonts can contain 
more than 255 characters -or at least I don't know how to do it. Even if it 
did, how could we switch around character sets a-la Windows or UN*X? It 
would take a two-byte per character encoding and ProForma/ProWesS use the 
standard one byte/char AFAIK.
