If you look at my previous message you'll see that I also just found out. I 
will be fixing it and posting it today again. Sorry for the trouble.
My guess is that somewhere before the conversion I changed the character 
set in Fontographer by mistake :-(

I am currently checking the Guardian font to make sure no problems of that 
nature exist there

P.S. (Answer ;-) There are but I am sure these problems are not related to 
them. PFB2PFF has exhibited many times erratical behaviour especially with 
Unicode PFBs :-(
