Thanks for that. However, all I want is an extra connector on the cable and
a switch to toggle power to either the one device or the other, ie nothing
worth $39 + p&p and a big box. Were not talking hot-swapping here as, as TF
points out below, the drives are normally initialised at startup. Nothing
ambitious in other words: I simply want the option to select either the one
device or the other at boot time without having to reconnect the cables. I
dont have the gear or knowledge to make up such a cable myself.
