I hadn't thought that for a moment - I believe I was to email you anyway! In any case, I sat down last night and went through my QL mags and found HPDUMP. I am not sure that my eyesight would survive trying to type in the assembler, so if it IS around on disc, I would be grateful to have it. By way of a footnote to this thread, I have the following: GRAPHICS FILE FORMATS (2nd ed.) by Kay&Levine (McGRAW-HILL) This provides just enough info on many formats to get one going - test that one can make a printer/program recognise what one's up to and pass over a simple picture. There IS a chapter on the PCLs (->5) but NOT a full reference. Christopher Cave
