It is perhaps possible to do applications that look ok in both modes (by using different colour values). But in my opinion it's either use the new colours or stay with only 4 forever. I'm trying to remove all hassles the 16bit colour mode brings (still investigating the slaving stuff for example) so that in the end one can decide to use the new mode and only the new mode without having to regret it. > As for colors in general, I don't use them other to view JPG's ( and > don't really look at them too much on the Q40).
