Strange Peter my Kodak 4MB card works just fine, same system Win 98 SE
5000mhtz celleron , two hard disks a CDR and the CF reader ( I have the
drive with the reader on set to AUTO detect)
I just purchased a 32 MB Scandisk from ASDA ( Wallmart in US ) for 24 UK
pounds, they are guaranteed to work with any CF device, wow 32MB = about 240
jpegs on my Kodak and works fine on the reader too.

All the best - Bill
