who cares if he gets support elsewhere? The problem is that this
licence can make it harder to get support or even plain upgrades
without any support. I am not speaking about an actual situation 
but in a shrinking market you should take worries like that into

I find it hard to follow you here. Buying new HW is not the same
as repairing old. And how do I buy another copy of SMSQ if there is
no reseller?
