As long as the source is included, and the included code is separate from
SMQ, it is compatible with the GPL. Incompatibility arises if the source
is not included, or if the code is incorporated into SMSQ, in which case
the GPL would override the SMSQ license, as accepting the GPLd
contribution means accepting the GPL.

Don't go any further, it gets complicated ;)
