Well, first of all, if it was before the new licence, that means that it isn't concerned by this debate. Of course, before the new licence was drafted, there were copies of SMSQ/E sold for various machines - they were sold under the lincence as it existed then ( a FAR MORE restrictive licence then the one we have now).
