I using IE 5.something and will look at these. The 'ual.pdf' split was known and no bearing on this as I manually typed it in full.
There is obviously some setting for scripts or ftp sites I am not aware of and it must be a default setting because I rarely touch those and Win 98 SE is a recent clean update and re-install after a bad virus infection which taught me a bit about "worms" and Lookout Excess. Meanwhile, acouple of people have offered to download or mirror the files for me, thanks Marcel and others. These types of documents may well go on my QL Documentation CD.
