Hi all, I was wondering if anyone has some extra info on Thor XVI's Mode 12 (screen organization, bits etc)... I lost the notes Simon sent me and he's kind of busy now so I don't want to bug him before I have something to send him to test...
Am I right to remember that Mode 12 is like Mode 8 but at 512x256? ie 4 pixels per word but twice the size ie. 64K instead of only 32? If anyone has a Thor XVI (George?) I would also appreciate if he could look over my scr files to see if my conversion is working properly. (And also to beta test Q-Word Thor when it becomes available ... really soon now..). Now on Turbo, I remember from an article that Simon wrote for Computer Shopper that Turbo could not allow at the time fractional values for INK and PAPER... is that still the case or has it since been changed? And a VERY belated answer to G.G. regarding the Turbo website... The files are there, it's just the comments next to the links that are confusing.... when you read it you don't know if you are downloading Turbo or its documentation....
