Yes, we need to start organising NOW. I think QL2000 was in full swing in
the planning stages by this time (in comparison, if you know what I mean).

All very valid.

EXCELLENT idea. I'm sure if we could get them they'd attend.

Another excellent point. I think if we could make a special effort to
contact people that have left the QL scene like those dilwyn has mentioned,
a lot would consider returning, at least on a part time basis, or maybe
just join the list (which wasn't there when a lot left the QL) and join in
that way.

This is a FABULOUS Idea - get the subscribers of QL Today and QUANTA to
name a "QL Personality of the century" or something, with a special award
being made to that person on the day of the show, what the "punters"
believe to be the person that has done the most to keep the QL where it is
today... Winner is the one with the most votes.
