Indeed yes. I find it incredible that on some cheap colour inkjets, if you want to use the manufacturers products, it is often cheaper to buy a new printer (with packaged cartridges)
True and I do it all the time on eBay ;-) When it's time to change cartidges I sell the printer instead. BTW: Nowadays most inkjets come with "starter" cartridges that last less than the regular ones you can buy later as consumables.
