I recently acquired some more web space courtesy of one of those free web space providers, and plan to reorganise my website(s) to allow more QL material to be put online.
First action was to upload the archived old QL e-zines (Club QL newsletters, Hackers Journal, Forum, Italian disk mags, old QL Today cover disks etc) from the 'free software download' space on the pages kindly supplied by Phoebus Dokos to free up some space on there for software - users of that site may have noticed it hasn't been updated for a while because it was getting short on space. I haven't linked to it yet from my main site, but the site is partially active on http://dilwynjones.topcities.com/index.html What I wanted to ask is: You will know about the QL Documentation CD which Darren and I produced. Would there be interest in having some of this material online - old manuals, articles etc? Some of it is already on my Tesco.Net site, but if I moved it to the TopCities site I might be able to expand it a bit, or do you think all that sort of 'information' material is best kept all together on the main Tesco.Net site? Or perhaps keep the most useful, most accessed material on the main site and a larger if less used collection onto the new site? (Not too keen on this new site because of the adverst etc - it is free space after all). If space permits, I'd be quite happy to add any useful documentation people might wish to contribute and make freely available. -- Dilwyn Jones
