Hard to believe its all lasted 20 years....
On 12th jan 1984, I was enjoying my new 16K ZX Spectrum, which Dad had
bought me a few weeks earlier for Christmas. Wasn't too long before I was
wishing for a 48K one (some things never change......)
Was YEARS later (about 1994/5) when I got a QL, or rather two fo them, at a
car boot sale with some mags and an Expanderam, Cumana Disk I/F and a
Microvitec Monitor, all for �75 if I recall, after some intense haggling.
The rest as they say is history..........
I've made some wonderful close friends thanks to the QL, long may it last.

Hi QL'ers
Time is moving so fast those days!
On January 12th 1984 (exactly 12 days earlier than Steve Jobs lauched the
Apple Macintosh) Sir Clive Sinclair presented the QL professional computer
to the world in a hollywood-style event at the Intercontinental Hotel, Hyde
Park Corner, London. Today, 20 years later we (the QL-community)
congratulate
to the QL's 20th birthday and celebrate!
Do you remember?
I remember well as the QL changed my life in many aspects. Summarized I
mean
it changed it in very positive way. I would say that without the QL and its
technology I would not be at the business position I am today...
