Well, the SSS at least doesn't give you any help in this respect. An application would have to get all the different sounds from somewhere (preferably by frequency pitching of a pre-sampled note), mix several of them together, and supply the end-result to the SSS. Definitely doable but it is a bunch of work. Also latency is an important factor one has to take into account when designing something like this. I guess the Q40 should be fast enough for all this if it's done right. But best to try something similar with existing Linux programs first, like playing a MOD file for starters. Cheers, Marcel
