Hi,

got same segfault here, bt gives:

(gdb) bt
#0  0xb7a36d4b in sincos () from /usr/lib/libgdal1.5.0.so.1
#1  0xb7a36d5b in sincos () from /usr/lib/libgdal1.5.0.so.1
#2  0xb7a36d5b in sincos () from /usr/lib/libgdal1.5.0.so.1
#3  0xb7a36d5b in sincos () from /usr/lib/libgdal1.5.0.so.1
#4  0xb7a36d5b in sincos () from /usr/lib/libgdal1.5.0.so.1
...

Maybe the changed something within the sincos() function after 1.5.0 
release?
