you might try current svn, also. > > Using gpsd or cat, I can see data from the device in NMEA mode, so the > cable seems to be correctly hooked up. You might be able to change the speed on your unit to 9600, or if thats not possible, just change the speed in the source from 9600 to 4800 for your experiments. > When I try the EtrexH driver, I get the message "Failed to change to > real time mode. setRealTimeMode(): is not implemented for your device". > If I try to download waypoints from the device, I get "failed to > download waypoints, serial_send_packet failed" and stdout produces > "ERROR: start byte isn't DLE serial_check_ack failed: pid sent = $ > response id = 0 pid acked:" hm.. real time mode still has to be implemented... waypoints: Either you have your unit still in NMEA mode, or the buffer of serial port is filled with previous NMEA data? So we might need to flush the devicebuffer at syncup... Just try with cat and restart and see if it helps. best regards, Andreas ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by the Moblin Your Move Developer's challenge Build the coolest Linux based applications with Moblin SDK & win great prizes Grand prize is a trip for two to an Open Source event anywhere in the world http://moblin-contest.org/redirect.php?banner_id=100&url=/ _______________________________________________ QLandkarte-users mailing list [email protected] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/qlandkarte-users
