Hi Albrecht, thanks for the patches, they are in svn. Good that you take care of it, as I blindly moved all the stuff into the new system. Concerning the aliases: As you have noticed, many devices use the same protocol, thus the driver can be recycled. I did that by creating symbolic links to the base driver. As the plugin's name is coded into plugin's hook function it's easy to know what device ID has to be tested for. Don't know if OSX knows symbolic links. Win32 does not. If not I would suggest to simply copy the plugin multiple times with different name.
