Hello all, I am running Qlandkarte 1.1.1 (QT lib 4.7., GDAL 1.6.3, Proj4lib 470) on Ubuntu 10.10 (64bit) from the "prodeia ppa". I was wondering if I am the only one experiencing heavy stability problems ? I normally work under Gnome 2.32. Any actions with tracks or sometimes even simple menu operations causes my X-session to be closed and restarted. The situation is better if the application is started under KDE (4.6), but still some functions do not seem to work. I am trying to create an artificial track by adding a distance polyline. According to a tutorial this polyline is supposed to snap to an already existing path, but in my case it does not. I am aware that qlandkartegt can be started with a "--debug" option. But where is the debug log placed ? I have looked both in my home directory and /var/log but could not see any captured log. Thanks for your assistance Peter
