Hi Peter,

it's hard to tell anything if you do not supply more details. So far I 
just know that you feel that QLGT crashes a bit more when running with 
GNOME compared to KDE. And that you expect the polyline to snap to what 
every you think is a path. That is not much.

It should be understood the the map must be a Garmin vector map. 
Elevation lines are ignored. Streets and small streams (polylines, no 
polygons) are ok. The first point close to the line will not snap. If 
there is a point close to a line all other points will start to follow 
that line.

If there is a crash I need detailed instructions on how to reproduce the 
crash. If you want to debug yourself with gdb you need to set 
CMAKE_BUILD_TYPE to "Debug" with ccmake.
