Oliver,

At the end I couldn't resist testing it so I compiled tonight in a
Debian running inside a virtual box. The short answer is that now it
works for me but not quite to the spec you had defined earlier.

So a waypoint like this (entered normally in QLGT):

<wpt lon="-2.55279994" lat="51.46144867">
<time>2011-06-20T17:54:38Z</time>
<name>002</name>
<cmt>right</cmt>
<desc>turn </desc>
<sym></sym>
</wpt>

in a route becomes like this:

<rtept lon="-2.552800" lat="51.461449">
<name>002</name>
<cmt>turn </cmt>
<desc>turn </desc>
<sym>Small City</sym>
</rtept>

So as you can see the comment gets overridden by the description. It
does not matter to me but with Murphy's law somebody will eventually
need the two so I thought that i would mention it.

Thank you for the quick fix, I am a happy man.

Regards

Yannig
