OK, understood.
But I am a little bit worried about reproducability of the builds,
especially when it comes to updates.

At http://www.gisinternals.com/sdk/, you can only get the latest daily
build of release-1500-dev.zip.
In your svn, there is no information which version (download date) you
have checked in. Nor are there version/release tags which allow me to
see for which QLGT releases it is designated.

I would like to be able to (re-)build a particular QLGT version for
windows without SVN, i.e. just based on downloads of some tarballs or
.zip files. For the QLGT sources, it's clear. But for the gdal not.

As a first step, can you just tell me at which date did you download the
release-1500-dev.zip which is in your svn? I can then write this in the
3rdparty.txt.

For later, it might be useful to have the gdal stuff also as a SF
download (http://sourceforge.net/projects/qlandkartegt/files/).
