Unfortunately, I had to "orphan" the package due to the lack of time.
This means someone else needs to step up to maintain the package in
Debian. This should be really easy to do as time has shown that the
package doesn't need patches, it always builds, and the community is
healthy and responsive.

It would be great if the Ubuntu packager would take the Debian package
over, as it is outdated there as well -- and also in the other 125
Debian-derivatives.

I'd volunteer to sponsor uploads into the Debian archive, but I can't
watch/follow the development that closely anymore. If you feel like
giving it a shot don't wait too long. Debian will freeze the archive in
June to prepare for the next stable release. Would be a shame to have
QLandkarteGT 1.2 in it...
