thanks for the .patch file, but I don't know how to use it. I am using binary
Windows distribution. Can you please post changed files I can replace over my
QLGT 1.4.0 installation?

Hi Oliver,
please ignore the patch from my last e-mail as I think it will work only
for Windows.
The attached patch should solve the problem in a portable manner.
However, I have tested it only for Windows.
This patch will require correct file URI syntax.
So, David, you will probably have to change from
"file://home/david/maps/%3/%2/%1.png" to
"file:///home/david/maps/%3/%2/%1.png" (adding one forward slash).
I think its now the right time for the users/contributors of that
feature to provide some documentation for the Wiki.
