;) I know. It's just that users like to complain about usability. On the 
other hand side I recently had a nice email contact telling me that QLGT 
is much better than QuoVadis.

The ESC key is reserved. And I do not think it's a good idea to change 
the overall concept of the left hand  menu. Same for the F9 and F10 
button. These are reserved for up- and download data. I do not want to 
change that easily.

I think the current overlay menu structure is ok, as it allows to be 
extended.

Cool you found where to hit it! I took that part from the patch. It's in 
svn.
