Hi Adam, all the projection stuff in QLGT is done by the Proj4 library.
http://trac.osgeo.org/proj/ Proj4 is configured by strings. The easiest way to do so is to find the EPSG code. I used Google to search for "OSGB EPSG". If there is no EPSG code you have to fall back to a more complex form of the string. E.g. Gauss Krüger Zone 3 is: +proj=tmerc +lat_0=0 +lon_0=12 +k=1 +x_0=4500000 +y_0=0 +datum=potsdam +units=m +no_defs but I prefer: +init=epsg:31467 Imho if you get into the Proj4 syntax it's as easy as any other notation system that provides me with the same flexibility. Every country has it's own idea of how coordinates have to look like and what projection system / datum is used. Thus Proj4 is simply a compromise to manage them all.
