Quote from the QMapShack / DocGettingStarted wiki page:

"QMapShack accepts a few options on the command line. The most important
ones are:

-d to enable debug output on the console
-c <filename> to read the configuration from a configuration file

...

If you just start the application like any other application the
configuration will be stored where ever your system stores application
configurations."

There are 2 questions about the QMS Windows version:

- Can the "-d" option be used with the QMS standard distribution or must a
special debug version be used in connection with this option? Under which
circumstances is there some output from this option and where? Maybe there
is a connection to the similar "-f" option found in the source code?

- What is the filename of the default configuration file? Where can it be
found? Even with an extended search in the usual Windows directories I
couldn't find the default configuration file. (The documentation of
QDir::homePath() which might be used here points to "C:/Documents and
Settings/Username" - no default configuration file found in this directory
tree).

Thanks for help. Regards

Wolfgang
