Thanks for the reply, the provided steps help in so far, as now I can read and write contents from/to the SD card with Qmapshack. But I still cannot access contents on the internal memory of the Garmin device, nor can I send data from Qmapshack to it.
Unfortunately, although the Vista HCx is capable of writing tracks to the SD card, it cannot show them itself. So, it would be necessary to send tracks/waypoints from Qmapshack to the internal memory of the device, as QLandkarte can do. From the provided link I guess, that access to the internal memory of the Vista device is not supported, am I right?
