Technically speaking your device does not have a mass storage mode. At least not in the understanding of newer devices. You can fake it with the trick described in the wiki. This will give you read only access to tracks. Everything else is handled by a Garmin proprietary USB protocol. As mentioned in the issue tracker this does not fit very well into how the modern devices are handled.
