Hi,

there are always complains that QMapShack is hard to start and not intuitive.
Well if it comes to intuition I guess most users simply mix intuitive usage
with "not the same I am used to" and we can discuss endlessly.

However I do acknowledge that the first steps are not easy to do as you have
to download and setup quite some stuff from the beginning. Wolfgang already
wrote the Quick Start Guide which is a great help for those looking at the
Wiki first, before complaining about missing documentation. But I think the
majority will not.

That's why I started to boil it down even more. If you start QMS the first
time you will see a very short description of the next steps to do. It's full
of links that will trigger the necessary dialogs or direct you to the right
Wiki page.

I would like you to test it. Right now it's only in the repo. So you have to
compile the code yourself. But maybe Helmut can do a quick test release for
Windows.

To see the new help, you can either open a new map view or start QMapShack
from the command line:

qmapshack -c test.cfg

This will not use your current configuration but use a completely new one. If
you remove test.cfg later you can start from scratch over and over again.

Let's consolidate the help text before it's translated.

Thanks

Oliver
