LDAP is started with ldap:/// & ldaps:/// which should bind it to all
interfaces.
I got it working.
I had the mail attribute set incorrectly. This is a test server & the mail
address requires the host name which I left out of the value.

LDAP should be listening on all interface in order to use the FQDN:389
POP3 authentication uses 'uid' by default for authentication, 'mail' is
used in mail delivery
