Why in the world would you compile qmail with ldap when you are only
using it to relay?

If you want qmail to deliver you will need to have it look to ldap for
the users.

Subject: is there any workaround for this in qmail-ldap

Hello all

  i have installed qmail-ldap on redhat 7.3 , its
working fine , i am using this qmail server just to
relay all the out going mails from our users ,

now i want to save copy of all the messages passing
through this server , i have compiled qmail-ldap with
the changes required to achive this , so when users
are sending any mails , my qmail is trying to deliver
copy of those mails to [EMAIL PROTECTED] , which
does not exists in the ldap , infact i have not
configured the ldap or not even installed the ldap
bcoz this server is not going to be used for incoming
mails , so the ldaplookup is not getting anything
except can't contact ldap server , i have enabled ldaplocaldelivery=1 ,
so that qmail can look into the /etc/password file for user entry "log"
which is there , but its sttill just trying only ldaplookups and not
checking /etc/password

i am pasting result of qmail-ldaplookup , with debug
level 255

[root@ctsweb bin]# ./qmail-ldaplookup -m
[EMAIL PROTECTED] -d 255
